Diamant de Semilly x Laudanum XX x Ecuyer I

This son of Diamant de Semilly, born in 2004 and with a 1.64 in height, is of modest appearance and at first glance it may appear that he lacks means. However, it possesses and demonstrates enormous flexibility, strength and intelligence in front of the bars. This together with his particular character, which is extremely expressive, make it an exceptional horse. According to his breeder, he already had a lot of energy as a colt.

In the 2014 season, Quickly has been rated as the best French Chair during the winter season. The victories accumulated during 2014 and early 2015 at CSIs 5*, WEG 2014, GCT and Morocco Royal Tour, place Quickly in the WBFSH's top position in April 2015 as World's Best Horse in 2014.

With a view to the Olympic Games in Rio, a Qatari emir proposed to buy Quickly for 16 million euros, but the offer was declined. His rider Abdelkebir Quaddar stated: "The horse is not for sale".

Its maternal line, always taken care of by the reputed Kreisker horse jumping stud. His mother Briseis d'Helby descends from Son Altesse, a breeding mare that strongly marks the French maternal lines. Briseis has given, besides Quickly, three children of 1.60, a son of 1.50 and two children of 1.40.
